Multiple Mini Interviews (MMI)
An MMI, or Multiple Mini Interview, is a dynamic and fast-paced interview format often used in medical and healthcare school admissions. Instead of a single, traditional interview, applicants rotate through a series of short stations, each presenting a unique scenario or question designed to test critical skills like communication, ethical reasoning, empathy, and quick thinking. What makes the MMI especially valuable is its fairness and variety—it gives applicants multiple chances to showcase their strengths and minimizes the influence of any one interviewer’s bias, making for a more balanced and comprehensive assessment.
